What a battle it was, with the "young guns" showing the crowd that New Zealand Motorsport is in good hands, as Speed Sport Scholarship winner Aaron Hodgson, the Aforementioned Nick Cassidy, Bramwell King and Jamie Gaskin constantly ran within centimeters of each other right to the end of every race.
After three rounds though, its Shepherd out infront in the point chase, with Hodgson just behind and Andrew Vincent a little further back, after a few niggling issues during the weekend.
