Liam Foster has taken out the final race of Round

Liam Foster has taken out the final race of Round 3️⃣ of the Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship here at Manfeild, making him the third different winner of the weekend, joining his brother Jensen and round winner Chris.

Top Rookie of the race and round honours goes to Ben Williams for the third time this season.

Our next round is Hampton Downs 25-26 January, so until then have a safe and happy holidays from the team here at New Zealand Formula First.

Race 10 of the 2024-25 Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship has gone the way of Chris Symon, who has narrowly beaten series returnee Hayden Lines by 0.099s.

Liam Foster continues his podium run with another P3 finish ahead of Harry Scott and Jensen Foster.

Ben Williams collects another Top Rookie spot in P6 ahead of previous season rookie Keiano Weir.

One more race to go for the round, mid afternoon.

Jensen Foster you are a New Zealand Formula First Race Winner 🏆

Race 2️⃣ of Round 3️⃣ of the Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship here at Manfeild ended under safety car after Keiano Weir and Liam Nicholson had an unfortunate coming together on the home straight.

Chris Symon surfed the positions early with a hard battling front pack, eventually finishing second behind first time race winner Jensen Foster (this is also his first podium of the season).

Liam Foster joins his brother on the podium finishing in P3 ahead of series returnee Hayden Lines.

Top Rookie goes to Ben Williams who finished in P6 ahead of Yoshi Comeskey.

Day 1️⃣ of Round 3️⃣ complete with Chris S

Day 1️⃣ of Round 3️⃣ complete with Chris Symon taking out todays race here at Manfeild for the Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship.

Chris crossed the line 1.646s ahead of Liam Foster and Liam Nicholson after a hard fought race which saw several lead changes.

Top Rookie goes back to Ben Williams who finished in 8th ahead of fellow rookie and Top Rookie qualifier Yoshi Comeskey. Rookie Mitch Dennis’s race came to an unfortunate end with a DNF to end the day.

3 more races to go tomorrow to round out the round and the 2024 leg of the season.

Chris Symon has taken out race 4️⃣ of round 2️⃣ here at Hampton Downs ahead of Liam Nicholson who picks up his 4th 2nd placing for the weekend ahead of Harry Scott.

Ian Foster had an unfortunate stroke of bad luck and DNF’d the final race whilst Ben Williams picked up his 4th Top Rookie finish of the weekend, earning himself the Top Rookie Round honours in the process.

The suns come out and the action is heating up. Chris Symon has managed to hold off Liam Nicholson and Harry Scott to take victory in race 2️⃣ of the weekend here at Hampton Downs for round 2️⃣ of the 2024-25 Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship.

The trio crossed the line separated in total by just 0.251s, with Liam and Chris only being 0.017s apart.

Ian Foster and Ben Williams collect another Top Master and Top Rookie finish in 14th and 8th.

The rain stayed away just long enough for a master

The rain stayed away just long enough for a masterclass of Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship racing with a 3 way battle taking place throughout race 4️⃣ which has seen Chris Symon yet again come out on top.

Liam Nicholson, Harry Scott and Chris fought for the lead and had several lead changes before the final drag to the line with Chris crossing it just 0.114s ahead of Liam Nicholson and 0.652s from Harry Scott.

Ben Williams collects another Top Rookie position finishing in 7th and Ian Foster Top Master in 15th.

Three more races await the crew tomorrow and with a top 3 finish you could throw a blanket over we’re in for a treat of Formula First Action.

Qualifying done here at Hampton Downs for Round 2️⃣ of the 2024-25 Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship and Chris Symon has notched up another Pole just 0.584s over Liam Nicholson and 1.019 over Liam Foster.

Top Master is our only Master joining us this weekend, Ian Foster.

Ben Williams continues his Top Rookie run lining up P6, just 1.779 from pole.

Race 1 of the weekend is set to go green just after lunch with conditions trying to change, will it stay dry for us?
