Drama. Desperation. Domination.

Kaleb Ngatoa has claimed a dominant win at Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park, finishing ten seconds ahead of Callum Crawley and Conrad Clark. The race was more about surviving than battling, with over half the field either venturing off track or suffering mechanical issues.

A clean start saw pole sitter Kaleb Ngatoa gain a small advantage over his rivals. Chris Symon, Callum Crawley and Blake Evans followed suit while all this vying for a top spot. Symon began catching the series leader on lap three and left Crawley and Evans behind to battle for third.

The drama began on lap four with Crawley, Conrad Clark and Taylor Hurst running off the road at turn ten. Then it was Alex Hawley contributing to the action as he spun into the chase after locking his brakes. Once the remaining field had passed, Hawley got going again only to find himself facing the wrong way again on the following lap at turn one.

The race then exploded at the end of that lap as Symon spun after a deep braking move on Ngatoa into the chase. Symon was unable to get back going again, and subsequently falling 198 points off the championship lead.

On what would have been the final lap in the past Reece Hendl-Cox suffered a gearbox failure and finished his race off the road at turn two with Travis Day who lost power and ended up in the same spot. Young

Young Blake Evans was next to fall victim to a mechanical issue, slowing down after his front beam came loose and finishing 13th after running second the lap prior. Meanwhile, Craig Greenwood and Paul Butler both slowed down with engine issues, putting them 15th and 16th respectively.

Through all the carnage, the drive of the day would go to Liam Foster who started from last after missing qualifying due to an exam this morning made his way up to fourth position.
