Dylan Grant has claimed the final race of the 2021-22 Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship. Chris Symon finished the race in second place to be crowned back-to-back champion.
Finishing in third was Zach Blincoe. After being in the hunt for the win, Blincoe spilled it wide at turn three, running through the gravel trap and dropped out of contention.
Mason Potter got fourth place over Liam Nicholson by just 0.027 after a great battle to the line.
Jack Groenewald finished a lonely sixth ahead of Jensen Bate. Bate crucially finished well ahead of Hayden Lines to claim the rookie of the year title.
Behind Bate was Jensen Foster in eighth place ahead of Toby McCormack in ninth and Hayden Lines in tenth.
Daniel Petersen finished in 11th with Paul McCormack 12th.
