Reece Hendl-Cox has topped an incredibly tight qualifying session at Hampton Downs for round three of the 2018/19 Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship. Series leader Chris Symon will start second after setting a time just 0.054s off the pole time.
Amy Smith will start third after her effort which was just 0.096s off Hendl-Cox’s time. Thomas Boniface is the highest qualifying rookie, starting fourth with Billy Frazer fifth. Liam Foster will start sixth, Taylor Hurst seventh, Bob Dillow eighth, Ron Carter ninth and Kyan Davie tenth.
SpeedSport Scholarship driver Ronan Murphy will start 11th ahead of his Sabre Motorsport teammate Nathan Sudiono in 12th. Dave Scammell, Flynn Mullany and Rob Baker will start 13th, 14th and 15th respectively.
