Reece Hendl-Cox has topped the final qualifying session of the 2018/19 Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship at Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park. Hendl-Cox set a time four-tenths of a second faster than the new race lap record set at the previous round.
Billy Frazer will start on the front row of the grid after setting the second fastest time of the session. Liam Foster went third fastest with Chris Symon fourth. Thomas Boniface will start fifth, the highest of the rookies.
Amy Smith will start sixth ahead of Nathan Sudiono, Ron Carter and Travis Day. Ronan Murphy will start outside the top ten in 11th with Bob Dillow 12th, Ian Foster 13th, Craig Greenwood 14th, Flynn Mullany 15th. Louis Redshaw and Rob Baker rounded out the field in 16th and 17th respectively.
