Hendl-Cox takes Taupo pole

Reece Hendl-Cox has taken another pole position in the 2018/19 Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship. Hendl-Cox will start out in front from a 21-car strong field at Bruce McLaren MotorSport Park. Brody McConkey took second place, with Chris Symon third.

Liam Foster will start fourth ahead of Thomas Boniface and Billy Frazer. Amy Smith qualified seventh with Ron Carter eighth, Kyan Davie ninth and Ronan Murphy tenth.

Narrowly missing out on the top ten was Nathan Sudiono in 11th while Bob Dillow, Dave Scammell, Darren Henderson and Craig Greenwood rounded out the top 15.

Flynn Mullany will start 16th with Andrew Tierney 17th, Shaun Logan 18th, Liam Nicholson 19th, Jarad Nicholson 20th and Rob Baker 21st.
