King edges Podjursky for Pole

Bramwell King has kicked 2017 with a pole position at Hampton Downs for round three of the Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship. Matt Podjursky, only 0.054s slower, will start alongside him on second, with series leader Arran Crighton third.

Chris Symon secured a second-row start, starting fourth, with Reece Hendi-Cox leading the rookies starting fifth ahead of Kaleb Ngatoa and Callum Crawley.

Liam Foster landed another top 10 start setting the eight fastest time while Dylan Smith and Travis Day took ninth and tenth respectively.

Billy Frazer qualified a credible 15th after joining Sabre Motorsport for the remainder of the season this round.
