Liam Foster fastest in Taupō qualifying

Liam Foster has taken pole position fit round four of the 2020-21 Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship.

Foster was 0.371s faster around Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park than second placed Chris Symon.

Brody McConkey will start on the second row of the grid from third-place. SpeedSport Scholarship driver, Dylan Grant, recorded a personal best result after qualifying in fourth place.

Rookie racer Louis Sharp will start from fifth on the grid ahead of Hayden Bakkerus who will start from sixth. Leo Scott and Zac Blincoe will set off from seventh and eighth respectively.

Amy Smith and Mason Potter rounded out the top ten in ninth and tenth. Liam Nicholson finished 11th fastest ahead of Craig Greenwood 12th, Jensen Foster 13th, Andrew Tierney 14th and Darren Henderson 15th.

Toby McCormack set the 16th fastest lap with Rober Baker 17th.
