McConkey storms to race win

Brody McConkey has taken a strong race win in race 13 of the 2018/19 Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship at Manfeild Circuit Chris Amon. McConkey lead home Billy Frazer and Reece Hendl-Cox who crossed the line neck-in-neck.

Amy Smith finished in sixth on the tail end of the pack while Thomas Boniface finished a distant seventh ahead of Ronan Murphy. Ron Carter beat out his sunset rival Bob Dillow, the pair finishing ninth and tenth respectively.

Louis Redshaw was 11th ahead of Dave Scammell, Flynn Mullany, Nathan Sudiono and Rob Baker. Darren Henderson did not finish due to an ignition issue while Kyan Davie did not start the race after a gearbox drama.
