Ngatoa regains Championship lead

After dropping to second in the points after the previous race, Kaleb Ngatoa has regained the championship lead after taking Race 16 at Manfeild. Former series leader Callum Crawley ran off the road on the final lap and dropped from an almost certain race win to third.

Reece Hendl-Cox and Callum Crawley broke away from the field after the second lap and looked set to decide the lead only between themselves until the final lap when on the second to last corner Crawley spilt it wide into the weeds. Hendl-Cox also threw it wide allowing Ngatoa and Conrad Clark to move through to take first and second respectively.

Liam Foster moved up to finish fourth after getting by Hendl-Cox while Taylor Hurst produced a great drive to run with the front pack and come home fifth. Hendl-Cox eventually finished sixth ahead of Chris Symon and Billy Frazer in seventh and eighth while Amy Smith and Travis Day round out the top ten.

Blake Evans just pipped Alex Hawley to the line for 11th while Louis Redshaw, 13th, broke away from Shaun Logan, 14th, who beat Bob Dillow to the line by under a tenth of a second! Newcomer Andrew Tierney came home 16th as Brody McConkey failed to finish due to a gear linkage failure.
