Matt Podjursky has taken his second ever pole position at Hampton Downs, one that may prove pivotal in his hunt for the Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship. Arran Crighton’s last lap effort moved him ahead of Bramwell King to start on the front row of the grid.
Rookie championship leader Reece Hendl-Cox recorded a close fourth, 0.2s behind King. Liam Foster will start off fifth alongside Travis Day in sixth.
Chris Symon continues his struggles at Hampton Downs and will start way down in seventh alongside Ron Carter. Callum Crawley and Kaleb Ngatoa took the final two spots in the top ten and will start ninth and tenth respectively.
Great effort Arran Crighton. Go for it !
